Tazapay Pricing Overview
Tazapay does not publish a price for Global Collection Accounts, which is the product an Indian exporter would actually use. Its pricing page simply says contact sales, so there is nothing to compare.
The published rates are for domestic collections: 0.8% to 2.5% on local payment methods and 3.8% plus $0.50 on cards. Neither is what you pay to receive a client's cross-border bank transfer.
Our estimate is 1% to 2% on the collection account, plus another 0.5% to 1% of FX markup. On a $5,000 invoice that is $79 to $154 once the FIRC is added. Skydo charges $29 flat.
Tazapay Transfer Fees Explained
The rates Tazapay publishes are for domestic collection, not cross-border. The figures below are our estimate from user reports.
Approximate all-in cost for common currencies
FIRA charges
Tazapay: Charged at a flat USD 4 for every FIRC issued, not free. Skydo provides free instant per-transaction FIRA.
Multi-currency hold
Tazapay: Yes, balances held in 35+ currencies. Skydo offers multi-currency virtual accounts.
Tazapay Exchange Rate and FX Margin
Anecdotally we have seen a forex markup of around 0.5% to 1% above the mid-market rate on Tazapay. Do confirm your own rate with Tazapay before you proceed.
Where Tazapay costs you is the percentage. On a $5,000 payment a 1% to 2% collection fee runs $50 to $100, plus 0.5% to 1% of FX markup, plus $4 for the FIRC.
For platforms collecting across emerging markets, Tazapay's coverage is genuinely strong. For an Indian exporter invoicing direct clients, Skydo's flat fee and published rate win out.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tazapay Pricing
What is Tazapay's effective cost on a typical USD to INR transfer?
Tazapay publishes no rate for Global Collection Accounts, so you cannot know until you speak to sales. The rates it does publish, 0.8% to 2.5%, are for domestic local payment methods and are not comparable. Our estimate is 1% to 2%, plus an FX markup anecdotally around 0.5% to 1%, plus USD 4 per FIRC, so roughly $79 to $154 on $5,000.
Does Tazapay charge a forex markup?
Yes. Anecdotally we have seen a forex markup of around 0.5% to 1% above the mid-market rate on Tazapay. Its help centre says only that the exact rate is shown before you confirm the transaction, and customised FX is offered to high-volume accounts, so confirm your own rate with Tazapay directly before you proceed.
Are there volume discounts on Tazapay?
Yes, and Tazapay says so on its pricing page. Alongside the standard tier it advertises a custom tier for high-volume transactions, offering volume-based discounts, payment-method-specific rates and customised FX. No threshold or tier table is published, so the level at which discounts begin is only known by contacting their sales team.
What is the cheapest way to receive payments in India?
Skydo is cheaper at almost every size. It charges $19 up to $2,000, $29 up to $10,000, then 0.3% above that, at the live mid-market rate with free FIRA. Tazapay charges a percentage at every size, plus an FX markup and USD 4 per FIRC. On $50,000 that is roughly $150 against $754 or more.
Does Tazapay provide FIRA?
Yes, for a fee. Tazapay lists a fixed USD 4 charge for issuing a FIRC in India, and supports Bill of Entry documentation. It does not generate eBRC. Skydo issues FIRA free and instantly with every transaction and automates eBRC for Amazon Global Selling sellers, which matters most for goods exporters filing on DGFT.
Should I use Tazapay or Skydo?
If you are a platform collecting across emerging markets, Tazapay is well suited. If you invoice clients directly, Skydo costs less at essentially every invoice size above about $500, is published upfront rather than quoted by sales, and includes free instant FIRA, automated eBRC and GST-compliant invoicing.
