Can I use a photocopy, e-PAN or another ID instead of the original PAN card during video KYC?

Use your original PAN card. Photocopies, true copies and certified copies are not accepted for video KYC. Do not assume an image on another screen, an e-PAN printout or a different ID will replace that requirement.

If you do not have the original card, ask support what to do before starting the session. Keep any other requested identity information ready, but do not present it as a substitute that has already been approved. Wait for an accepted verification route or obtain the required original rather than trying to complete the check with an unsupported copy.
