How should I prepare an LLP application?

Apply using the LLP’s own legal identity and records, not the identity of an earlier partnership or an individual partner. Have the LLP’s PAN, current business information, the relevant partners’ details, Indian bank information and genuine business evidence ready for review.

Ask support which entity route and documents apply before submitting if the form is unclear. If the LLP replaced an existing partnership, do not assume the old account can simply be renamed. The application must identify the actual legal entity. Any request for partner, ownership or authority evidence should be answered using the LLP’s current records.
