How do I add a due date and payment terms to an invoice?

Enter the payment due date and the terms agreed with your client when preparing the invoice. Check that the date matches your agreement and that the client can understand when payment is expected. Put any useful commercial reference or agreed payment condition in the invoice notes.

Preview the invoice before sending it, including the invoice date, due date, and amount. A due date records your agreement; it does not guarantee that the payment will settle on that date. If the client later agrees a different deadline, keep the written agreement and check the invoice and reminder records before sending more reminders. Ask support if you need to correct an issued invoice and cannot do so safely.
