Should I choose a USD amount or a fixed INR amount for a contractor payout?

Choose the option that matches the amount you agreed with the contractor. You can request a USD amount or a fixed-INR payout. A USD instruction fixes the sending-currency amount; a fixed-INR instruction is intended to specify what the recipient should receive in INR. Check the actual quote and fee presentation before approving either option.

Do not convert the contract amount yourself and then enter that number in the wrong currency field. Review the recipient, selected currency and promised amount together. If your agreement is unclear, settle that with the contractor before paying.

For a prepared batch, confirm the point at which the exchange rate becomes binding and what happens if funding is late. Confirm when the quote expires and whether you can amend the batch before funding.
