  • Card network: Debit cards issued in India on the Visa or Mastercard networks can be linked. RuPay-only debit cards do not work for international transactions on PayPal.

  • No balance top-ups: An Indian PayPal wallet cannot be loaded with money in advance. When you buy something online, PayPal charges the linked debit card at the time of payment.
