Does Razorpay work in USA

Yes, Razorpay works in the USA through Razorpay USA, which lets businesses based in the United States accept online payments from their customers.

Razorpay USA has its own US pricing page and supports several ways for American businesses to get paid. What applies to you depends on where your business is registered and where your customers are.

• Payment methods for US businesses: Merchants in the US can take major credit and debit cards, digital wallets, and ACH Direct Debit payments pulled from US bank accounts.
• Card pricing: Razorpay USA lists standard card processing at 2.70% plus $0.30 for each transaction.
• ACH pricing: ACH Direct Debit is charged at 0.5% of the payment, with the fee capped at $5.
• International cards for US merchants: American businesses can switch on international payment methods, including cards issued outside the US, to sell to overseas buyers.
• Customers paying from India: A US business can accept Indian cards from customers in India and have the money settled to its bank account outside India.

The situation is different for a business registered in India that wants to charge clients in the US. Razorpay's international payments feature lets Indian merchants accept payments in US dollars from foreign customers, using multi-currency support so buyers can pay in their own currency. This runs through the Indian Razorpay account rather than Razorpay USA.

Before choosing a setup, check which entity you are registering (US or Indian), which payment methods your customers actually use, and how the per-transaction fees compare with your typical payment size. The same checks are useful when looking at Razorpay alternatives for international payments, since supported methods, card and bank transfer fees, and settlement accounts differ between providers.
