Stripe charges US businesses a standard fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per successful online card transaction. That base rate covers major domestic credit and debit cards as well as wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The actual amount you pay per transaction depends on how the payment is taken, where the customer is based and which payment method they use. Failed payments carry no Stripe fee.

Online cards: 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment, covering Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay.
In-person payments with Stripe Terminal: 2.7% plus $0.05 when a physical card reader or point-of-sale setup is used.
