How to access PayPal
You can access PayPal by logging in on the official PayPal website at paypal.com or by signing in through the PayPal mobile app with your registered details.

To access PayPal on a computer, follow these steps:
- Open the homepage: Visit paypal.com in your web browser.
- Click Log In: The Log In button sits in the top right corner of the PayPal homepage.
- Enter your login ID: Type the email address or mobile number linked to your PayPal account.
- Enter your password: Type your PayPal password and click Log In.
- Pass security checks: If PayPal asks for extra verification, such as two-factor authentication, complete it to reach your account.
To access PayPal on a phone, follow these steps:
- Get the official app: Download the PayPal app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- Open the app: Launch the PayPal app on your phone.
- Enter your details: Type the email address or phone number and the password for your PayPal account.
- Tap Log In: Sign in with your password, or use face recognition or fingerprint login if you have already set it up in the PayPal app.
If you cannot get into your PayPal account, check whether an error message appears on screen and consider whether you need to reset your PayPal password before trying again.
