How to apply for LUT in GST

To apply for a Letter of Undertaking (LUT) in GST, log in to the GST portal, navigate to Services, then User Services, and select Furnish Letter of Undertaking. Fill in Form GST RFD-11 with your business details, including your GSTIN, export turnover, and the financial year for which you are applying. Upload any required documents, such as your bank account statement or previous year's tax returns if applicable. Once submitted, the system typically processes the LUT for tech service export immediately, allowing you to export services or goods without paying IGST.

After your LUT is approved, you can receive export payments through platforms like Skydo, an RBI-authorised solution that helps Indian exporters collect international payments quickly and cost-effectively. Ensure you renew your LUT each financial year and comply with GST filing requirements to maintain uninterrupted export operations.
