How to install PayPal
To install PayPal, download the official PayPal app from the Google Play Store on Android or the Apple App Store on iPhone, then sign in or create an account.
The steps are the same on Android and iOS apart from the store you use.
- Open the store: Launch the Google Play Store on Android or the Apple App Store on iOS.
- Search: Type PayPal into the search bar and select the official app.
- Download: Tap Install on Android or Get on iOS.
- Sign in: Open the app once it has downloaded and log in or create a new account.
PayPal's Digital Wallet page gives a PayPal overview of the wallet and can also be used as a starting point to get the app. On a computer there is nothing to install, because PayPal works through a web browser.
- Visit the website: Go to the official PayPal website in your browser.
- Create or access an account: Click Sign Up to open a new account, or Log In to reach your dashboard.
