- Register: Visit the Wise site or app, select Register and enter your email address, or sign up with a Google, Facebook or Apple login.
- Pick an account type: Choose Personal for everyday spending and personal transfers, or Business if you are a freelancer or run a company.
- Set your country: Enter the country where you mainly live, and make sure it matches your government-issued documents.
- Verify your phone: Add your phone number and enter the 6-digit code Wise sends you by text.
- Create a password: Choose a strong password to protect the account.
- Add personal details: Enter your full legal name, date of birth and home address.
- Verify your identity: Upload a photo of a government ID such as a passport or driving licence, and take a selfie if asked, so that all account features become available.
