What currencies does PayPal support

PayPal supports more than 25 currencies for sending, receiving and holding funds, including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY and SGD.

PayPal's developer reference lists the following supported currencies with their ISO codes:

• Americas: United States Dollar (USD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Mexican Peso (MXN) and Brazilian Real (BRL).
• Europe: Euro (EUR), Pound Sterling (GBP), Swiss Franc (CHF), Czech Koruna (CZK), Danish Krone (DKK), Hungarian Forint (HUF), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Polish Zloty (PLN), Swedish Krona (SEK) and Russian Ruble (RUB).
• Asia Pacific: Australian Dollar (AUD), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Chinese Renminbi (CNY), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Philippine Peso (PHP), Taiwan New Dollar (TWD) and Thai Baht (THB).
• Middle East: Israeli New Shekel (ILS).

Some of these currencies come with conditions that affect how they can be used on PayPal.

• In-country currencies: Brazilian Real, Chinese Renminbi and Malaysian Ringgit can be held or received only by PayPal account holders based in Brazil, China and Malaysia respectively.
• Russian Ruble: RUB is limited to payments made within Russia's borders.
• Zero-decimal currencies: Hungarian Forint, Japanese Yen and Taiwan New Dollar do not use decimal places, so amounts in these currencies must be whole numbers.
