Where is the sort code

Your sort code is a 6-digit number that you can usually find on your debit card, bank statement, cheque book, or in your online or mobile banking account details.

  • Debit Card: The sort code is often printed on the front or back of your card, usually next to your account number. If you use a digital-only bank and do not see it on the card, check your app.
  • Bank Statement: Look for the sort code near the top corner of your digital or paper statement.
  • Cheque Book: The sort code appears among the numbers printed along the bottom of each cheque.
  • Online or Mobile Banking: Log in and view your account details or summary page to find your sort code.
