Who accepts PayPal

PayPal is accepted by millions of online stores, global brands and physical shops across more than 200 countries and regions.

Where you can pay with PayPal depends on how you use it: at an online checkout, in a physical store through the app or a card, or as a way to send money to other people.

• Online retailers: Many e-commerce sites selling fashion, electronics and entertainment show a PayPal button at checkout. Finder lists stores such as Forever 21 and G2A among those that accept it.
• Pay Later at participating merchants: On merchant websites that support it, shoppers can choose a PayPal Pay Later option at checkout to spread the cost over several payments.
• Anywhere Mastercard is taken: The PayPal Debit Card and the PayPal Cashback Mastercard can be used at any location that accepts Mastercard.
• Selected physical stores: PayPal says the app can be used in some brick-and-mortar shops through QR codes or touchless payment features, and Pay at Pump is also supported.
• Friends, family and contractors: PayPal can be used to send and receive money with individuals and businesses worldwide, subject to each country's rules.

Country rules change what PayPal can do. In India, for example, domestic transfers between PayPal users are restricted, while cross-border business payments are supported. To confirm a specific merchant, look for the PayPal button at that site's checkout, or check whether the store appears on a published list of retailers that accept PayPal.
