Can I collect an advance from an overseas customer through Skydo?

An advance needs to be linked to a genuine, supported export transaction. Advance receipts against goods-export contracts are included in Skydo’s accepted-purpose-code list; the particular payment still needs to meet the applicable collection requirements. That is not approval for every deposit, retainer or advance for every business type.

Before sharing payment details, explain what the advance covers, whether it is for goods or services, the amount, currency and expected delivery arrangement. Keep the contract, order or other evidence supporting the request. Ask Support which documents are required for your particular collection.

Do not describe a loan, investment or personal transfer as an export advance. If the transaction type or purpose is unclear, have it checked before your customer pays.
