How do I check a SWIFT code I already have?

Open Skydo's BIC/SWIFT code finder, switch to Check SWIFT code, enter the code and choose Check SWIFT code. Check the returned bank and branch information against the instructions supplied by the receiving bank.

The page tells you to verify the SWIFT code with your bank before using it. If the checker cannot find the code or the result differs from the bank's instructions, ask the bank to confirm rather than changing characters until something passes. A successful lookup identifies a bank code; it does not verify your beneficiary account number, confirm that a transfer will be accepted or trace money already sent.
