Does downloading an EDF also submit it to my bank, RBI or DGFT?

No. Skydo's EDF generator prepares a filled form for you to download. Downloading an EDF does not submit it to your bank or RBI and does not issue an eBRC. The tool also tells you to submit the form to your bank manually.

After downloading, check the form and ask your AD bank which submission route and supporting documents it requires. Keep your PDF and any acknowledgement separately. Do not treat a generated PDF, a browser Saved message, or receipt of export payment as proof of bank filing or closure. If you need an eBRC or a bank reporting update, follow the relevant bank or DGFT process; generation alone does not complete it.
