Can my accountant or employee complete identity verification in my place?

They can help you gather business information, but they should not impersonate the person whose identity is being verified. The person being verified must complete the video-KYC interaction, even if someone helps initiate it.

For a business account, confirm the eligible owner, director or partner before scheduling verification. Being allowed to prepare paperwork does not automatically make someone an accepted identity-check subject. Do not share personal verification credentials with a helper. If the wrong person was named during signup, ask support to correct the application before the check.
