Why does my IFSC not work in the SWIFT code checker?
Use the bank's SWIFT/BIC in the SWIFT checker, not its IFSC. Skydo's finder says these are different identifiers: IFSC is for domestic transfers within India, while SWIFT/BIC identifies banks for international payments. The check field is intended for a SWIFT code.
Ask the bank for the correct SWIFT code and verify the bank and branch before using it. Do not convert an IFSC into a SWIFT code by changing its length or letters. An international invoice may show both identifiers because they serve different purposes, but that does not make them interchangeable. If your client's payment form asks for another routing code, follow the actual receiving-account instructions rather than substituting a lookup result.
