Which account should my customer use when sending a currency that is not local to their country?
Use the International SWIFT account, also called the Rest of the World account, for a supported non-local-currency payment. For example, a customer sending USD from Europe should not assume that your local USD instructions are the correct destination.
Agree the sending currency first. Then share the current International SWIFT instructions for your business and ask the payer to use the matching transfer method. Check that both the payer country and currency are supported.
If the payer cannot use the supplied SWIFT instructions, ask Support to check the route before payment. Do not tell them to change the destination country or use another local account simply because its currency looks right.
