How do weekends and holidays affect an incoming customer payment?

A payment initiated on a weekend or holiday may not move through every bank immediately. Weekends, holidays and the sender’s bank can affect collection timing.

Use the estimate for the payment's actual currency and method. Check when the sending bank released the payment, rather than counting from the time the customer created a draft instruction. More than one country's banking calendar can affect a cross-border transfer.

If the expected collection time has passed, compare the bank receipt with your receiving details and send it to Support. Do not promise a fixed arrival date based only on calendar days or an “instant” label shown by the payer's bank.
