How to get Wise tag

To get a Wisetag, open the Wise app or website, go to the Payments tab, find Payment Tools, and turn on your Wisetag if it is not already active.

A Wisetag is a public handle that starts with the @ symbol and combines your name with a number. Other Wise users can search for it and use it to send you money.

1. Sign in: Open the Wise mobile app, or log in to your Wise account in a web browser.
2. Open your profile: Tap your profile picture or initials at the top of the screen.
3. Go to Payments: Select the Payments tab and look in the Payment Tools section, which is where the Wisetag sits on both web and app.
4. Activate the tag: If your Wisetag is not yet active, choose the option to get your Wisetag, and Wise creates your @ handle for you.
5. Make it findable: Keep the visibility setting switched on so that other Wise users can look you up and pay you.
