How to make payment through PayPal

To make a payment through PayPal, log in on the PayPal website or mobile app and use Send and Request, or choose the PayPal button at an online checkout.

Paying a person through PayPal works like this:

1. Open Send and Request: Sign in to the PayPal app or website and go to Send and Request.
2. Enter the recipient: Type the person's name, username, email address or phone number, then select Next.
3. Add the amount: Enter how much to send and choose the currency.
4. Choose the payment type: Mark the payment as Goods and Services or Friends and Family, where that choice is offered.
5. Pick a funding source: Select a linked bank account, credit card, debit card or your PayPal balance.
6. Review and send: Check the details and select Send Payment Now.
