27. How can I check if the payment is truly completed?
When your client authorises a payment, we will send you an email notification. However, at this stage, the payment is still pending verification, and the money has not yet been received.
Here’s how to interpret the statuses on your Instalinks page:
- Outstanding: This is the default status when you create a payment link. It does not mean the client has authorized or completed payment.
- Paid – Settlement in Progress: This status appears only after the payer has authorized the transaction. The user can then upload the invoice to begin payment processing by Skydo.
- Paid: This status indicates that the money has been credited to the user's Indian bank account.
So, if you want to confirm that a payment has reached your Indian Bank Account, look for the Paid status in your dashboard.
