Can my customer pay a company invoice from a personal bank account?

Do not assume this is accepted. Ask Support to review the proposed payer arrangement before the money is sent. The person sending the funds and the customer named on the invoice need a clear, genuine connection to the transaction.

Share the invoice, proposed sender's name and the reason a personal account would pay a business invoice. Ask what relationship evidence or other documents are needed. Do not tell the payer to enter the company name if its bank account is in an individual's name.

If payment has already been initiated, provide the actual receipt and explanation. Keep the invoice accurate and wait for guidance rather than trying another person's account.
